Before You Start
- ✓ Your Voice Profile must exist. If you haven't created one yet, see Create a Voice Profile first.
- ✓ An active PostAuthentic account.
Step-by-Step
Topic Selection
PostAuthentic recommends two topics based on your niche, audience, strategic goal, voice profile, and professional background. Each recommendation includes a short rationale explaining why it's a good fit.
You can pick one of the suggestions, or type your own topic if you have something specific in mind.
Generation
Click the "Create a Post" button. The system analyses your topic, voice profile, and background — then drafts your post and runs an authenticity check before showing it to you.
This takes about 20–40 seconds.
Review & Repair
Read the draft. Below it, you'll see notes on how well the post matches your voice and strategic goal. If you want to tweak the post, use one-click repairs:
- Shorten — tightens the post without losing meaning
- Expand — adds more depth or examples
- Soften CTA — makes the call-to-action less aggressive
- Improve Hook — rewrites the opening line to grab attention
- Reduce AI Tone — strips out generic AI phrasing
- Convert UK→US — switches spelling and phrasing
You can apply up to 3 repairs per draft.
Export
Copy the post to your clipboard or download it as a text file. PostAuthentic never posts to LinkedIn for you — you paste and publish manually. This keeps you in control of your account and timing.

Limits reset daily at 00:00 UTC and monthly on your billing cycle date.
Troubleshooting
▶No topics appearing
This means your Voice Profile hasn't been created yet. Go to the Voice Profile page, complete the setup, then return here.
▶Generation failed
Wait a minute and try again — the AI service may be temporarily busy. Also check that you haven't reached your daily generation limit (5/day).
▶The post sounds too AI
Use the Reduce AI Tone repair. For a longer-term fix, return to your Voice Profile and add more varied writing samples — the more authentic material PostAuthentic has, the less generic the output.
